Setting Up Alerts

Configure how and when you receive change notifications.

Alert Channels​

Diffy supports multiple notification channels:

Email​

Email alerts are enabled by default using your account email.

To add additional email recipients:

  1. Go to Alerts → Channels
  2. Click Add Channel
  3. Select Email and enter the address

Slack​

Connect Diffy to your Slack workspace for instant notifications.

  1. Go to Alerts → Channels
  2. Click Add Channel
  3. Select Slack
  4. Click Install to Slack and authorize the app
  5. Choose the channel for notifications

Alert Preferences​

Configure when alerts are sent:

ImmediateSend alert as soon as change is detected
Daily digestSummarize all changes in a daily email
Weekly digestSummarize all changes in a weekly email

Severity Levels​

Changes are classified by severity:

  • Critical - Major pricing or terms changes
  • High - Feature additions or removals
  • Medium - Content updates
  • Low - Minor text changes

You can configure which severity levels trigger notifications for each channel.
